Daily Adhkar ("the App") is a free mobile application providing morning, evening, and bedtime remembrances (adhkar), Qur'an text, Qibla direction, and prayer-time reminders. This policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used. The App does not require an account, and we do not collect, store, or sell any personal information on our own servers — the App has no backend server of its own.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account of any kind. We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or trackers.
The following is saved locally in the App's storage on your phone, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:
The curated selection of narrations from Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī used for "Hadith of the Day" is bundled inside the App itself. Reading it involves no network request and no data leaves your device.
Uninstalling the App permanently deletes this data. You can also erase it at any time from within the App via More → Reset All Progress.
The App asks for location permission only if you choose to use one of these optional features. You can decline and still use the rest of the App normally.

We do not log, store, or retain your location on any server we control.
If you enable daily reminders, the App schedules local notifications directly on your device using your operating system's notification system. No reminder data is sent to us or to any third party.
When you open a surah, view the Verse of the Day, or request tafsir (scholarly commentary), the App fetches the Arabic text (Uthmani script, matching the Madani Muṣḥaf), an English translation (Saheeh International), and — where requested — tafsir from the free public Quran.com API. These requests contain only the chapter or verse number you selected — no personal or device-identifying data. The content is then cached on your device so you can reread it offline.
If you enable prayer times, your coordinates are sent to Aladhan.com to calculate the five daily prayer times and the Hijri date for your location. You can choose your preferred calculation method in the App. Prayer time reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Any adhan sound plays locally from the App and involves no network request or data collection.
Each dhikr shows its hadith source, which may link to Sunnah.com for reference. Tapping a link opens it in your browser, which is then subject to that site's own privacy policy — we have no control over external sites.
None of these services receive any information from us beyond what's described above (coordinates for prayer times; a chapter number for Qur'an text). We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your information to any other party.
The App is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, since no personal information is collected at all.
Because the App does not operate its own server or database, there is no central store of user data that could be breached. Data on your device is protected by your device's own operating-system security.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the new version posted at this same address.
